1 review for Dimarzio Air Zone
Medium output, relatively tight sounding pickup good for chords and distortion. Perfect if you want something that doesn’t quite sound like anything else. It has a classic sound to it while not sounding like a PAF or other vintage pickup, and it works quite well for high gain applications. Lots to like; I can’t see someone not being pleased with it. No squeal for me despite the air gaps in the design. If you don’t know what to get you can do much worse. Very much a “regular humbucker” type of sound. I only tried it in the bridge but I think that’s where it belongs.
