A truly one of a kind neck pickup that I haven’t encountered something similar to before. It’s very deep, warm, and rich with slightly rolled off highs on clean tones and the same squishy pick attack of the bridge. That said, it never gets tubby in the low end like many neck pickups do on both cleans and gain. With distortion it definitely becomes very fluid sounding with great clarity. I’ve enjoyed using the neck pickup to solo a lot more since dropping it in. It’s very sensitive to picking dynamics and matches the output on the bridge very well. Yields INCREDIBLE fat single coil clean tones when run in parallel.
